Best surf boat...? $50k budget
Hey guys... after several years sitting on the sideline, by neighbor is serious about getting a boat this season (his first). I've been helping him out with advice, but I could use some help from the Wakeworld brain trust. :D
He's married with two boys and he's primary drawn to surfing so whatever he gets should have good, long wave potential. His budget is $50k. He's shopping lightly used boats to stay within the budget. Currently he's looking at a 2011 Tige Z1 and a 2011 MB F21. What would be on your list for $50k? |
2011 MB TWB 23
Centurion enzo (newest year that fit his budget) Supreme v226 |
A little above his budget, but I think it worth a demo of an Axis T22 with SG. Seen some listed for $60k

I wouldn't exclude the Avy C4s either. |
Sanger 237 slots in the list too

My vote, for price, build quality, surf wake and family friendly ballast, would be an MB TWB 23. No question, IMHO, and I own a slammed Enzo 230. |
All good choices. I'd throw in a 2007-2009 Tige RZ2 or 22Ve in there as well. Probably get into a 2 year old Tige R20 or RZR and put the "mudflap" mod on it, they make a pretty awesome wave.
