I've got one and it works but It's tough to operate the camera.

I still have my very first Ewa Marine bag purchased summer of 2002. Up until a few months ago when I finally got a custom housing built, every tube shot photo I had published was shot with that Ewa housing. Yes, I lost one camera to it back in '05, but that's because I was dumb and tried to do an underwater portrait shoot with it in a swimming pool.

It is a little difficult to control the camera at first, but once you get used to it it actually becomes quite easy. I can change my shutter, aperture, ISO, AF points, camera mode and white balance temperatures all very easily. I still use the bag sometimes when I'm shooting from the tube with a flash because I don't have a flash attachment for my custom housing yet. I love it because it's actually fairly easy to change camera settings and because it's so easy to throw in a bag and pack it up for a trip.

Wow, Garrett drags up a thread from a month ago! Bravo!

Hey, I was bored last night and it wasn't that far down the list!

Mine works pretty well, I'd rather have a custom housing, but I can't shell out the dough right now. That 300 2.8 i just bought kinda drained the wallet

Anyhow, I've had mine for two years now and it's worked great so far. You really can't beat them for the price.

And yes underwater portrait shoots are dumb, but fun

(Message edited by oldschoolripper on September 06, 2007)
