polarbill 04-26-2012 9:59 AM

chattwake 04-26-2012 9:59 AM

Looks sick!

downfortheride 04-26-2012 10:00 AM

Now that's what up! Congrats...

brett33 04-26-2012 10:01 AM

So legit. Congrats dude.

ironj32 04-26-2012 10:09 AM

Hopefully it will be here in time for the MN Spring Ride. They'll be towing one up here from Atlanta for the event, but I'd love to have my own rig on site.

ironj32 04-26-2012 10:10 AM

Went with the 450hp engine. Supposedly, that's the engine they are giving all of the athletes, so I'm expecting it will be enough. The 550 Super Charged one would have been fun, but it's quite-a-bit more for that upgrade.

bushtree 04-26-2012 10:22 AM

Sick! That boat is going to be wicked. Love the black/lime green accent.

jcfox00 04-26-2012 10:41 AM

Im guessing your the first person in MN to pick up one of these bad boys! Sick colors! might have to make a trip up to spring ride if there are going to be 2 of these sick!

jarrod 04-26-2012 10:46 AM

Congrats Jay. That thing looks sick!

Houstonshark 04-26-2012 10:51 AM

Meh...I've yet to see a good power turn or tube pull with one.

JK! The boat looks sick! Very clean interior. Will they be sending you any build pics?

migs 04-26-2012 11:02 AM

Bing bam boom pow!

ripr 04-26-2012 11:07 AM

Looks killer. I can't wait till my guys get theirs at the shop...really want to get a pull.

bruizza 04-26-2012 11:23 AM

Awesome Jay!

Txjole 04-26-2012 11:28 AM

Congrats!!! I hate the wait, it cost me more money online shopping for all the goodies to go with the boat.

ironj32 04-26-2012 11:30 AM

houstonshark - I'm hoping I can get someone to take a few pics of the build for me. I believe production starts on May 1, so I'm thinking mine will be one of the first to hit the line...my expected completion date is May 31.

jcfox00 - Come on up! It's confirmed that Danny Harf will be attending, and we'll for sure have 1 G23. Fingers crossed that we'll have 2.

Txjole 04-26-2012 11:58 AM

I heard the line is running already, they sold more then expected at the launch. Dallas may see 2 mid May.

sppeders 04-26-2012 12:17 PM

Awesome Jay, Congrats. The folks on Long Lake will have to raise their docks with that thing tearing it up.....

ralph 04-26-2012 12:17 PM

Hey, no fair! Jelly much

Txjole 04-26-2012 12:22 PM

Who's trailer will be under it?

Txjole 04-26-2012 12:38 PM

Right after I say the line is running Nautique post a pic on Facebook of Murray's boat coming down the line. Production is in full swing!!!!

durty_curt 04-26-2012 12:47 PM

I can't find that pic...

ironj32 04-26-2012 1:00 PM

It will be on a Boatmate trailer. Looking at doing a black/green/white trailer with black 18s on it.

Txjole 04-26-2012 1:13 PM

Sorry the pic is on Planet Nautiques facebook

Txjole 04-26-2012 1:14 PM

I'd talk to Boatmate about a possilbe ladder at the bow like you see on pontoon trailers.

tyler97217 04-26-2012 1:15 PM

Awesome... The first guy with one on WW. Will be waiting for reviews. Congrats.

Thanks Man. Picking the colors was the hardest thing...so many options.

cwb4me 04-26-2012 6:00 PM

That's a huge boat. What are you towing it with? Congrats on the new boat! Looking forward to pics!

ironj32 04-26-2012 6:17 PM

Gonna tow it with my Silverado Crew Cab with the 6.2L. Max tow rating is about 10,800 pounds so it should do a decent job.

JUNE!! Geez, it's going to be early August for me. :( I've put down the deposit and I think these will be my colors. I went with the ZR450 too.

ironj32 04-27-2012 5:18 AM

Looks sharp Tony!

aarond0083 04-27-2012 5:46 AM

Tony, did you place the order with White Lake? I see you are in NC.

I was, but it was going to be September before I could get one with them. I went with Race City Marine. They are a lot closer to me anyway. Hopefully, it's a good dealership. My last two boats have been from White Lake, so it was hard not buying from them.

aarond0083 04-27-2012 7:32 AM

Makes sense. I don't know much about Race City but I'm sure they are great. I was just curious because White Lake is my dealer as well. Was hoping to hear they had sold a G23. I'm headed down there next week to pick up our 210.

Congrats on the G23. I'm looking forward to seeing one in person.

tuneman 04-27-2012 10:54 AM

Congrats, Jay! I hope to at least get a ride in that beast this summer! I just got a new-to-me ride too. Hopefully gonna be here on Sunday.

brycejb328 04-27-2012 10:59 AM

Congrats Jay... thats big news!! Cant wait to get a pull behind it!

ironj32 04-27-2012 11:31 AM

Thanks guys. I'll definitely get you out on it this summer.

Chad you still selling FlyHigh gear? I'ma need to get 8 or so fatsacs and a whole lotta hose and connectors!

digg311 04-27-2012 11:35 AM

Congrats guys. Awesome.

This thread made me go and design one for myself. So, so painful knowing I could never afford one.

cwkoch 04-27-2012 11:41 AM

Looks pretty sweet Jay!!! Think I could get a pull sometime to test out the hydrofoil wake????

ironj32 04-27-2012 11:50 AM

you bet!

tuneman 04-27-2012 12:20 PM

Jay, I'll hook you up. Just let me know what you need and I can get it in 1-2 days for you.

tampawake 04-27-2012 1:32 PM

ironj32 04-30-2012 4:47 AM

Awesome, Chad! I'm not sure exactly what bags I'm going to want yet. Should know in about two or three weeks.

logan 04-30-2012 8:23 AM

Congratulations! That's pretty awesome, I love seeing people get new boats. Can't wait til I get to post a thread like this about my new boat someday.

I think I will be putting these rims on the trailer. Trailer color is probably going to be Black/Green/White.

chattwake 05-02-2012 6:28 AM

I would love to see one solid black or solid white with no graphics.

all black with ghosted graphics would be HAM

mhunter 05-02-2012 7:01 AM

Congrats sweet boat . I know one of the owners at Race City A1 people to deal with . Will you be running it on Norman?

ironj32 05-02-2012 9:17 AM

I created an all white and all black on on their site, but decided I liked a little more color. If you could do all black with some ghost graphics like Jeff said, that would sick!

sppeders 05-02-2012 11:05 AM

Truck getting updated wheels too?

ironj32 05-02-2012 5:50 PM

maybe...thinking about getting a matching set of 18's for the truck.

I'm a couple of hours north of Norman, so I don't usually ride that lake.

05-05-2012 4:48 PM

Heres the new "tug boat" lol G23 sitting in ur green/black behind my ride. The G23 towers over it (and my suv in this pic is in the extended suspension mode). It makes the 200 look like a canoe and the 230 like a john boat lol

ixfe 05-05-2012 5:05 PM

Those puny trailer wheels look like they might pop right off under that load. ;->

ironj32 05-05-2012 5:23 PM

Looking good. I can't wait! Just a few more weeks.

GotWake 05-06-2012 9:54 PM

NICE! Review time!

jtech 05-06-2012 10:11 PM

Can one of you lucky ones that have a G23 on order drop by my place so I can drool after you pick it up? I feel like to broke guy on the block again with a 2 year old LSV! :) Congrats to all that have one on order!

jperkinsttu 05-07-2012 11:06 AM

That thing looks like a monster. it makes the trailer and wheels look like a pontoon on its trailer haha. Friggin sick though

my trailer came in last week. thing is a beast! about 27' feet long...23.5' at the tounge break. the color will take some getting used to, and will probably look better once the boat is on it. the cutout Nautique has lights behind it, so it'll glow nicely.

ironj32 05-26-2012 8:32 AM

The spare tire is on a spinning hub. There are led's that run the length of the frame rail, which will shine up from underneath the sides of the boat for some cool lighting.

Not sure I'll need to use the ladder, but Casey is about 6 ft tall, so you can imagine just how high the bow will be.

SkySki 05-26-2012 9:46 AM

Please tell me where I can buy a ladder attachment like that. I have been thinking about having one made - that one looks far superior to any that I have seen in person. I thought I was going to have to have one welded on - that one just bolts on - great design.

ironj32 05-26-2012 9:53 AM

I'm not sure if Boatmate makes it or what, but that is who I would call. I didn't even order it. My dealer may have asked to get it put on, or it may be that all G23 trailers from Boatmate will have them.

ironj32 05-30-2012 10:07 AM

It's looking like the boat won't be here in MN until sometime between June 15-23...I don't think I can take much more of this waiting business!

I bet. Its going to be worth it. If it makes you feel better, just imagine what people who had deposit on the Xstar are thinking right now. (The extended delays, tweaking of the design, etc)

sippi 05-30-2012 11:48 AM

I don't see how you'd get in that thing without a ladder! looks sweet though, congrats. and yes. i'm jealous

05-30-2012 12:04 PM

Has a ladder off the platform

sippi 05-30-2012 12:07 PM

well, i'd rather climb up in my 130k boat off of something that was welded to my trailer than the platform ladder. but that's just me

stephan 05-30-2012 12:38 PM

Damn Jay congrats! That trailer is so gangster. I can only imagine how sick it will look with a boat on it!

cwkoch 05-30-2012 12:46 PM

Jay- Does the runway lighting on the trailer only light up when it's in the water, or is it always on??

Also- I've seen a white 230 out on Lake Pulaski a bunch lately. Any idea who that is??

I'm not sure about the lights Charlie. I've been curious about that too. I was in a rush when I was there, so didn't hook the truck up to the trailer to check it out. I'll probably be up at MarineMax at some point over the next week, and will give it a try.

As far as the white 230 goes...I'm not sure about that, but I'm guessing it's the 2011 that we had for the fall last year. I saw someone towing it back to MarineMax the same day I took pics of the trailer.

runway lights are on when out of water but dim. there is a float switch on passenger side (under rear corner) that reacts to water and turns them bright when you hit the water....

ironj32 06-01-2012 4:11 AM

Thanks for the info rickB52!
