I have a 2000 Malibu Response with stock Kenwood speakers. Since I dont have a tower yet, i was thinking of adding the Wetsounds 6.5 interior speakers. Do you think they are worth the price. I with add an amp and next year a tower and 80'S. <BR>Thanks
Everyone seems to love them along with everything else Wetsounds puts out. Someone mentioned getting the blems at a discount but I'm not sure how that works.
i was wondering if they were worth the price too. i have polk momo in my boat right now. they were stock with my 07san
Pretty hard to beat the momo's, especially if you already have them. I doubt it would be worth the swap.
I love my wetsounds interior speakers. Great job on these things Tim.
thanks for advice nu bu
I would have to agree with Nu Bu...I am doing an upgrade and I am torn between wetsounds and and the polks. I wouldnt switch from one to the other
thanks Shane, you guys really helped me out here <IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0>
only advantage the wetsounds have is that they are a little more water proof <BR>had the momo's now run the wet sounds
Both are marine rated so who knows. I'm sure the wetsounds sound amazing, but doubt it's worth the $$ it would cost to replace an already great sounding speaker.
HELL YEAH i got mine about a month ago they friggin rock. call them and ask if they have any "b" stock left they have a very small and i mean small crack on the grill and they were selling them at a nice price so call them up. even if you have to get the "A" stock it is well worth it. yeah it might not be worth it to switch out the momos, i dont think they are as good as wetsounds but they aint bad but i know they will kick the crap out of those tired ass kenwoods 4sure.
I got the B stocks as well and you can't beat them for the price. They rock. The MOMO's are sweet too. I upgraded from the Clarion's. They don't drop in, you'll have to make the holes bigger. <BR> <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564482.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564483.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564484.jpg" alt="Upload">

Wow that's a monster next to the clarion.
evilone, <BR> <BR> What did you fill the tweeter hole with when you took out the clarions?
I haven't done it yet, but this is what I'm going to do: <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564655.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564656.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564657.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564658.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564659.jpg" alt="Upload">

Thanks!!!

I guess since they are bigger ,They will not fit in the front dash. The Kenwood speaker grills are right up against the windsheild.
My buddy has them in his boat and they jam. I still think that the JL 7.7's are probably the best sounding and loudest interior speakers I have ever heard. They must be powered well though, the stock mastercraft amps are not near powerful enough for them. Tim and the gang did do a knock out job on these things.
