Yup...puttin it up for sale. I'm gonna get me one of them new 1D mkIII's soon. Sure it's gonna be pricey, but sex, money, pizza and beer ALL at the touch of a button? SOOOO worth the price of admission!

oh, and I'm totally kidding. And this obviously isn't a real camera, because the real one will have a whiskey button instead of gin. pshh...gin.

When are the MKIIIs coming out? I'm saving up for an EOS1s and wanted to get a MKIII if they were out, but the prices on the MKII is closing in on 6k... tempting (considering rumor says MKIII will run you 9k)

ok aside from the hokey buttons, is there really a saturation and USH dial on the N? what about that battery needle?

-S

You get the enet loser of the week award. this is so 2 years ago.......

Can I borrow your polarizer??? I figure if I try it and like it, it will push over to buying one

scott_a 02-09-2007 2:48 AM

Yeah Chris, you can borrow it if you want. It's a 72mm or 77mm or whatever size the L series lenses are, though.

cmawsr 02-09-2007 10:14 AM

It's probably 77, which is what I'm looking for. I just picked up a 12-24 tokina
Some L's are different. does it fit your 70-200, if so then its 77mm

swami 02-09-2007 5:28 PM

you guys having any luck with polarizers? I haven't used one in a couple of years... been thinking about getting a 77mm to try it out.

-S

cmawsr 02-09-2007 6:17 PM

Never used one, so I dont know. I hope to use Scott's next weekend at the lake.

scott_a 02-09-2007 8:11 PM

Chris- next weekend at the lake? bastard! Yeah, it's a 77mm circular polarizer...I'll have to find it for ya! Let me know which day you're gonna want to drop by and pick it up (at my shop?), because I'm gonna be in and out for the next week setting up for the SF boat show...which I'll be working at ummm next weekend.

Swami- I've played around with it a little here and there, but I haven't really used it a whole lot for wake shots.

swami 02-10-2007 11:31 AM

I've always wondered if it could help out for those mid afternoon shots.. (washed out colors)

bakes5 02-10-2007 12:00 PM

I don't think anything can help mid afternoon shots

Walt 02-10-2007 4:22 PM
