Hey Well im riding behind a really small prostar wake with some weight in it and I think that might be part of the problem, but what can I do to land this thing!

http://media.putfile.com/Ben-flip

(Message edited by lakejunkie818 on June 18, 2006)

the rotation is good you just need a little bit more heigh because you don't clear the second wake. I think it's because you stop edging few feet before the wake.

You are coming off edge slightly. Try a shorter approach and really think about staying on your edge all the way through the wake and exploding off the top of the wake.

Keep your handle closer to your hips. It is up by your neck and hurting (slowing) your rotation. Good luck!

Add more weight. Seriously, the small wake makes it really difficult. You could play around with shortening the rope and slowing the boat to make the wake bigger. If you've never landed it, you could try buying a lesson behind a loaded wakeboard boat. This will get you over the hump. Try to get at least 700lbs in your boat.

You want to make sure that you get to the other side of the second wake. Shortening the rope will help. Adding more speed to your cut will hurt you. You will lose edge and timing.

When you hit the wake, snap the board hard away from the boat. This will increase your rotational speed and help you get all the way around.
