Talked to Spencer at Wakeside and he told me Rusty's boots were supposed to be all white and extremely nice, Also heard they redesigned the era and they have the BOA system back...Has anyone seen the 2009 hyp line yet?
"redesigned the era"... really? didn't they just re-design it this year? interesting that it'd go under another change besides graphics so soon
Lighter boards and all new improved boots.
jeremy, i think he means the boots. they are closed toe and called the audio
I hear they got a new boot designer...
Yea I was talking about the era boots they are supposed to be really awesome for 09
yes all of the boots are new. the murrays and byerlys will not be made like the 08s. they went a different route this year.
Thats awesome that they did the boots up. As solid as some of the models were: Atlas, and the Era, Proof etc... they were due for a facelift for sure. Can't wait to see em.
i know that Rusty's boot will be very cool. theres also a very cool feature to byerley's boot but can't say. hyperlite probably doesn't want it out yet. sorry guys.
ryan, their dealer book is out, most of their products can easily be seen. rusty's boot, i belive, is a wrap style liner like liquid force has been doing for a few years. byerly has a new boot with a boa on the side, not the tongue like it was on the murrays. graphics look great, the state is actually one of the better looking boards i've seen in a while, so i expect those things to sell like crazy
Byerly has a new board out thats all gold.
yea the new byerly has some flex in the tip and tail, yet stays rigid through the middle for pop. it also has an incredible rail construction that should hold up to anything you can throw at it.

i don't think the assault has the same pvc core construction as the monarch does, i think it's just as thinned out profile towards the tip and tail. its supposed to be a very rail friendly board with abs inserts in the fins and glass rope wrapped around the rail, instead of just two sheets overlapping.
