Its a great hull, you should be real happy with a bit of weight in it

chinexican 05-23-2012 6:25 AM

Dude is asking 8200.for a 94 dlx im headed to fresno hope i aint wasting my gas and time

blastmaster 05-23-2012 9:30 AM

Smokin price if it is clean and in good shape. Ride is stellar and great wake for just about everything.

Bam6961 05-23-2012 9:47 AM

looks like a really good buy! im always look at sangers and thats the second dlx ive seen in a year thats going for 8k the other one didn't even have a tower! but that rear sit looks like its been raised alot to fit the subs. i saw one dlx for 4k and tower but crack in the cyclinder.

Michael 05-23-2012 10:32 AM

I had a 20 dlx for years and I learned alot of tricks on her. I see your in Antioch. I have a fat seat ( 1200#) just collecting dust if you want it.

Michael 05-23-2012 10:39 AM

Also go to my profile and there is a picture of me doing a tantrum or something on the 20 dlx. Thats with a fatseat int the back (1200#) and a 500# back in the isle. I recommend a reprop because I didnt and finally destroyed the transmission running a ton of weight.

chinexican 05-23-2012 11:46 AM

It has 900 hrs should i pass??

Bolo 05-23-2012 12:17 PM

chinexican 05-29-2012 3:11 PM

So took the sanger out on monday wake has decent pop, but the bad news the damn steering was stiff as hell come to find out Sangers are notorious for the steering cable issue also its discontinued on top of that any secrets or tricks to svoid changing whole helm, steering wheel, cable , etc?

saberworks 05-29-2012 3:52 PM

Try lubing it?

chinexican 05-29-2012 9:38 PM

The cable or rudder?

saberworks 05-29-2012 10:22 PM

Everything. I have a V210 but haven't looked at it yet. My old MC prostar 190 had a grease fitting at the rudder (inside the boat) that helped a ton. We also lubed up the cable.

blastmaster 06-01-2012 4:13 PM

It is likely the steering cable and they are a bitch to find. It takes a Mercruiser Ride Guide A111111-20 Steering Cable and they are obsolite. Everyone will try to sell you a helm system change over and newer cable. If you look around you can find the Mercruiser Ride Guide cable for around $150. Standard problem on an older boat. Greasing did nothing for mine. New cable is a dream and easy to install by the way...

chinexican 06-01-2012 5:37 PM

Thx alot any idea where to start looking

chinexican 06-01-2012 10:20 PM

Found one model number 11111A20 is it same?

Saintraj 06-01-2012 11:19 PM

Could you let me know if that cable ends up working? If so, where did you find it?

I just picked up a 94 DLX for $7500; Steering's OK (not great), but if I can take care of it now and not have to search for the part in a couple years, I'd prefer that.

Thanks,

Raj
