The Durability of My Droid Razor
so yesterday i sadly put my droid razor durability to an unexpected test.
i was launching my boat at night; while i was climbing into the boat i dropped my phone on the ground but didnt notice until it was too late. while my wife was backing the trailer i heard a crunch and look over to see my phone had been crushed! screen cracks everywhere! so yes in the end my phone doesnt work, BUT what im more impressed with was that the kevlar case surrounding the phone came out perfectly untouched! even the camera lens didnt have a crack in it. i will be posting up some pics of the damge and not so damged aspect of the phone. once my new one comes in tomorrow. |
So you're saying the next generation of phones should have 100% kevlar and zero screen.... and it would be perfect!
The phone currently still works though, just a bust ol' screen?... pretty good considering my last few have died from falling out of my pocket. |
the phone still turns on but the screen looks extremely bad. i thought the kevlar thing was a marketing joke by motorola, but now im a believer. im getting my insured phone from asurion today and then will post some pics of the damage.

Yet the phone is still useless.

hahaha, sad but true. I'm just surprised how well the case took a 3/4 ton truck to the face and case. Hopefully more phones come out using the kevlar cases.
