I bought a new 07 byerly legacy 56 about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and i've ridden it twice. After the last time i rode it, i noticed that this thick clear plastic was coming off at the corners, worse on the ts than hs. Is my board messed up? Or am I just being stupid for using a board with a protective cover still on it?

What? Please, for all that is holy, post some pics of what you're talking about.

It's a hard plastic coating, &amp; yes it's coming loose. If you catch it quickly ,seal it with clear epoxy resin.

or you can just wait for it to get a little worse and get it warranteed for a new 09 board that is lighter but still the same shape

We have sent back a few 07 Byerleys with the same thing. So far the 08 are good,I'd send it back and they will get you a new one.

its under warranty. i would wait another month and then send it back so they send you a 09 model instead of a left over 08
