just heard about the new Shane Bonifay bindings. Anyone know anything about them, and when they come out. Mite have to give them a try.

I posted on them like a month ago when I first saw them. I couldn't find the thread but here is what it said. They are basically the same binding as the Transit with a couple of differences. They have an EVA rubber tongue instead of the lycra stuff that is in the transit. They are also way lower cut, and more flexible. Shane wanted a flexy binding that he could have mobility in for pokes and nose presses and stuff. He had said that the transit was too supportive for him. If you like a flexible binding, go for them. If you like support, go with the transit. They are already out in select places. LF did a limited run of like 1000 at first, but they already sold out of those to dealers. They have a bunch more in production now that could be out any time. Hope that helps.

Yeah the Sphynx's do look pretty cool, look really comfortable too.

I just touched base with a friend of mine (who shall remain nameless) who works at LF and he was saying that the Sphynx is actually a spin off of the Mynx (hence the name Sphynx) they had something like a 1000 (or around there) pairs of bindings for there reps only and are completely sold out until 05...when they will be part of there regular lineup.Good luck trying to find a pair <BR> <BR>(Message edited by wakeripper on May 04, 2004)

thats cool. i saw a liquid force rider with those bindings, must have been shane, and I was like "whoa, why are they riding another company's bindings." but this clears it up, now i know

What makes it different from the Minx then, besides the color and that one is marketed for men, and the other for women?

joe and chris: its the same as the minx, but built for a guy's leg, and there are only 1000 made. 'tis all.

When I called on May 17, the Liquid Force dealer in Knoxville, TN was totally unaware of these bindings.
