Yeah, Scott-- my thoughts exactly.

Then again, nick, you probably missed the post from a few days ago where someone took a picture of the boat you're asking about--
http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/178195.html?1089667781

The best boat is the one someone else pays for and maintains.....

(Message edited by wakecord on July 12, 2004)

NO DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

besides, my rented paddle boat is the best anyway

Rubber-band paddleboat - 2 lbs ballast, industrial strength rubber-band, great hole shot, ultra quiet engine, what more could you ask for!

Super air nautique team edition.

Steeper wake than the x-star so if you got bals you can fly high more than the x-star.

And the cost in gaz for the X-Star dont worth it.

Take the SANTE with the ZR6 motor.

Why does this question get asked all the time?

tigeair101 07-13-2004 11:10 AM

My opinion is the malibu wakesetter, with the wedge and built in ballast you can get a sweeet wake

whit 07-13-2004 2:25 PM

What ever boat you currently own or are riding behind...

wake_eater 07-13-2004 7:57 PM

there are several kickass boats on the market. find out which one suits your needs & how much you're willing to pay. opinions are opinions, form yours for yourself.
the pimpest boat is the one that's right at $20K more than you can afford.

magellan 07-13-2004 9:53 PM

If you're going to go with a SAN, buy one that's a few years old. They haven't changed for years.

guitartguy 07-14-2004 9:56 PM

I LOVE my Sanger V215. With a couple of sacs and the factory ballasts, the wake is great.

malibuboarder75 07-14-2004 9:59 PM

aircraft carriers put out some of the biggest wakes out there. definately go for that. The hole shot might be slow, but the 5ft wake will make up for that.

sbvfive 07-15-2004 6:57 AM

Leo, that's what I'm talking about right there....the aircraft carriers....I also heard that Royal Carribean is offering pulls, $50 bucks for 30 minutes, and you get to be in those commercials

3puttwilson 07-15-2004 6:36 PM

boats suck..buy a jet ski with a tower on it.

malibuboarder75 07-15-2004 7:14 PM

yea, royal carribean seamed like a good idea...but they dont have the square front like an x-star does. Aircraft carriers have that square front which gives it that huge wake. plus they ballast it down with a 100 multi ton jets.
