In regards to the rain...boats are waterproof. Doesn't mean you have to stop.

notsobueno 02-13-2009 10:07 AM

i think we are going to get some of that rain too.

jdjjamesz 02-13-2009 11:00 AM

yeah if you want to run over a tree.At my lake when the stotms come in, we get alot of trees falling in the water and debree, its not worth it .

jdjjamesz 02-13-2009 11:02 AM

I meant storms,in my last write up.

jdjjamesz 02-13-2009 11:04 AM

notsobueno 02-13-2009 2:47 PM

Yeah, I'm in the Palm Springs area. Me & Bryan Locke try to ride about once a week over at Lake Perris which is about an hour drive for me.

Planning a trip down this way?

jdjjamesz 02-13-2009 3:38 PM

Is that your lake right now,if that is, thats nuts .I was in utah for new years riding snow mobiles and that was to cold for me.

notsobueno 02-16-2009 8:25 AM

Is there actually whiskey IN the thermometer?

showtime 02-16-2009 10:57 AM

^^^^^^WHAT^^^^^^

notsobueno 02-16-2009 12:23 PM

I'm asking is Whiskey the liquid inside the thermometer instead of mercury.

bigshow 02-16-2009 4:50 PM

I don't think so. If it had whisky it would say something about "Brake in Case of Emergency"

notsobueno 02-16-2009 7:43 PM

Excellent point, Show.

Back to the thread, the Black & Blue crew should be going out again in the very near future. I'll take the camera if the weather is okay.

jdjjamesz 02-16-2009 8:04 PM

thats a good one show.

65sanford 02-17-2009 5:19 AM

That was a pic of my lake in early Jan--if there was whiskey--it would be empty--we did drop down to -15 this year--pretty much unheard of around here and our ice thickness is around 24" right now--usually it is not over 12". I will wait to see if I get the boat in the first week of April this year-- I think we will still have ice out there
