How to repair my Slingshot Response?

I just picked up a new 08 Response on good ol ebay. The seller packaged poorly and UPS put a nice ding in the sidewall.
How can I fix? Epoxy?

Damage isn't too bad...pics:
I don't know how far these sidewalls go into the board...do I even need to bother?

was there shipping insurance on it? I would probably try to send it back or get some money back from the seller. If not I would put some expoy or glue on it and put a clamp on it to try to get that edge straightened out.

No shipping insurance. I took a chance buying from the guy since he had no ebay feedback...but it was only $125 and through paypal so I figured not much to worry about. Not really interested in trying to get $$ back or deal with the BS of a UPS claim. Otherwise the board is untouched and brand spankin new. If it's easy enough to repair on my own, I'll go with that.

You can use surf expoxy if you want, but lately I have been using underwater pool cement. It is easy to use and it creates a great seal (its used to fill the cracks in pools).

I used some on my Recoil and it is still holding strong.

yeah then you should be fine if you get it straightened up and sealed. If you left it like that I could see it creating a little drag on that edge.

JB weld works great too! Works great on base dings on the snowboard too. Just sand it down and make it butter...

The sidewall goes in about a half an inch.
