I was thinking about tracking the board and boat teams and keeping scores during the PWT. I put together a spreadsheet with the teams. I only used the riders that were listed as team riders. I know there are more that aren't listed such as Adam E on Ronix, Hair on Hyperlite and Nick Jones with Malibu. But if they aren't on the "Pro Team" should they be counted? Anyway, check it out. What do you think?

Upload
Pro Teams (36.4 k)

OK- so you can't attach spreadsheets- here is the list.

CWB
A Adkinson
T Hansen
G Lucas
J House
Zan
S Broome
C Bradley
N Jones
D Grasman
J Wolf
B Hutton
Brett Lee
R Carter

GATOR
K Lidberg
G Nunn
K Ratray
R Harris
J McKee

Hyperlite
Murray
Ruck
Rusty
Rathey
Oshea

J Star
Ike
Weatherall

Liquid Force
B Greenwood
Lyman
Henshaw
Mike Ennen
P Soven
S Bonifay
Tino
Clifford
G Necrason

Obrien
Watkins
Josh Sanders
Nick Ennen
Sean Obrien

Ronix
P Bonifay
Chad Sharpe
D Harf

Correct Craft
Rathey
Murray
Lidberg

Malibu
Henshaw
Nunn
C Sharpe
P Soven
Weatherall

MC
Adkinson
Shane
Parks
Zane
Rusty

MB
N Ennen
M Ennen

Supra
T Hansen
J Sanders
B Greenwood
A Hair

Tige
Tino
Errington
Broome
Watkins
Ruck

wakedad33 05-03-2007 6:36 AM

I think you forgot JD for your HL team, are you not counting Megan, Heather or the skaters?

jusstty 05-03-2007 6:42 AM

What about Jesson Vedel for Gator, and how bout all the girls for the companies.

lfshane132 05-03-2007 6:49 AM

Jeff McKee isn't on gator anymore. He signed with Slingshot and you forgot Watson for Liquid Force and I think he's still with correct craft. Randy Harris and Keith Lyman are with malibu but not sure if they are on the "pro" team.

05-03-2007 7:18 AM

you forgot a few with CC... harf, watson & JD more i can't think of...
and i thought lidberg was with byerly now?

josh_r_skater 05-03-2007 3:18 PM

WOW?

hoosairboy 05-03-2007 4:07 PM

Thanks. CC site doesn't have riders up yet. Lidberg is not mentioned on Byerly's site but still on Gator. The women don't hit all the sites but I guess you could put them on.

So is this something people would like to see?

if so I will track it. I will use tour points. I think you should use all the riders points, not just 5 best from each team. This rewards the companies that sponsor a lot of riders like CWB. What do you think?

solo 05-03-2007 5:42 PM

Lidberg is with GB and you forgot Ricky G, Wes Brisco and Mark Weinkle.

Can't believe you forgot the Miker on Team MB!

dooie 05-04-2007 12:09 AM

dean smith rides for j-star and supra, chris O'Shea rides for malibu, ike rides for centurion, scott and troy Mackey ride for hyperlite and correct craft.
these are just a few aussies you may of heard of

hoosairboy 05-04-2007 4:13 AM

I forgot Dean Smith? He definitely should be on. I just went to the websites and took those names. I also didn't enter riders who don't compete since they can't score points. Anyway- nothing official here just seeing if there is an interest in doing something like this. If there is we can finalize who is on what teams. I would guess there is some since people respond and I believe the ratio of response to thread being read is 50 to 1. Meaning for every response there have been 50 other people who have read it. (Totally pulled that one out of my but it sounds good.)

If you want to see a team score competition just reply with a yes or something. I need to figure out how you can post a spreadsheet if there is interest.

andy_nintzel 05-04-2007 6:47 AM

On the Obrien pro team you forgot, Nick Ennen, Cobe, Brent V. How about the Ladies, Dallas?

closedtoe 05-04-2007 7:50 AM

yes

ronnyboy27 05-04-2007 8:23 AM

i think that it would be cool to track each team boat, board, clothing and whatever. See which team is the winner.

hoosairboy 05-04-2007 9:14 AM

I don't know how you go beyond boards and boats. How many clothing lines are there? Do you do sunglasses? Energy drinks? How do you find who everyone is sponsored by? I just looked at last years king of wake standings and there are 78 riders. A lot of them have sponsors where they are the only rider. There are speakers, vest, drinks, board shops, clothes plus who knows what. You have to put some limits on it. Every rider has a boat and or board sponsor. I know Jet Pilot and maybe Fox Riders could have a team. Maybe have a minimum rider rule. Must have 5 pro riders to be eligible as a team.

shavis 05-04-2007 12:06 PM

how bout the fox team....stacked

premier136 05-06-2007 6:09 PM

adam errington for ronix

hoosairboy 05-07-2007 7:36 AM

I avve completed putting together a relational database to track each pro rider and the points they score for eacxh of their teams. Murray for example will score points for Hyperlite, Correct Craft, Jet Pilot and Fox. The teams are
Boat- Master Craft, Tige, Supra, Correct Craft, Malibu and MB.
Board- Hyperlite, CWB, Ronix, Liquid Force and Obrien.
Other- Fox, Oakley, Jet Pilot,Arnett, Dragon and Straightline.

Company needs at least four pro riders on their team. Riders actually need to be part of the team, not just use the product. So if a guy buys a Malibu but isn't part of the "team" it doesn't count. Hey, there is no money or prizes just a fun thing to do so there so the rules aren't any big deal. Fox is stacked but Oakley and Jet Pilot are pretty good also.

ronnyboy27 05-07-2007 10:16 AM

What about Spy would they qualify?

mkrueger313 05-07-2007 11:10 AM

Spy needs a team for sure- Parks, Shane, Harf, Sharpe, Tino, La Riche, & OShea. They're stacked too.

And Adam Errington should be included on Ronix's team, it would makes sense if you need to have 4 riders to have a team.

(Message edited by mkrueger313 on May 07, 2007)

hoosairboy 05-07-2007 11:21 AM

I put Adam on Ronix and thank you for Spy. I did give Arnett a pass on the 4 man rule cause Byerly is on there and well, the Godfather of wakeboarding/skating gets special treatment.

hoosairboy 05-07-2007 11:26 AM

OK- _ went to the Spy web site and can not find wake team (or any team). How can I verify riders.

hoosairboy 05-08-2007 1:16 PM

The team scores are in for Wake Games - Liquid Force wins with 463 points followed by Hyperlite, Jet Pilot and Fox.

Boards- 1st-LF, 2nd-HL, 3rd-Ronix, 4th-CWB, 5th- Obrien, 6th-Gator and 7th-J Star
Boats- 1-Correct Craft, 2-Supra, 3-MC, 4-Malibu, 5-Tige and 6-MB
Accessories/Clothes-JP, Fox,Oakley, Straightline, Dragon, Arnette.

I will do a full posting on a web site soon.

ronnyboy27 05-08-2007 2:29 PM

thanks Roger.

bulldog_peach 05-08-2007 6:35 PM

How do you figure that?

hawk7 05-08-2007 7:25 PM

too much time on your hands perhaps?

na jk.

hoosairboy 05-09-2007 4:42 AM

Way too much time- And I wonder why they are offshoring our job? It started off as a curiosity and well blossomed into a hobby. I take the tour points and give it to the riders' sponsors. This was difficult because of the number of riders and no posting yet. I know it is only about 90% accurate and when I can find a place to post it I know people will "help" me with my inaccuracies.

Since there were over 60 pro men riders and only 15 pro wakeskaters and 12 pro women I decided to weight the scores. A wakeskater or woman could come in last in their only heat and score three times as many points as PM wakeboarder who made it through the first round. So I met with the board and we decided to count women and wskaters as half.

Hyperlite 372.5
Jet Pilot 366
Liquid Force 353
Fox 302
Correct Craft 263
MC 223.5
CWB 219.5
Tige 219
Supra 203
Ronix 192
Malibu 183
Oakley 164
Straightline 115.5
Obrien 76
Gator 65
Dragon 40
Arnette 40
MB 36
J Star 18
Crue 12

kneeboarddad 05-09-2007 11:15 AM

Can you show the riders' points and who is on the team?

mkrueger313 05-10-2007 10:25 PM

Spy's pro teams are listed on their myspace page

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid =141441346

WAKE TEAM PLAYERS:
Parks Bonifay
Shane Bonifay
Danny Harf
Chad Sharpe
Tino Santori
Jimmy LaRiche
Chris O'Shea
Kyle Hyams
Lauren Loe
Melissa Marquqrdt

hoosairboy 05-11-2007 12:14 AM

Thanks for the update: That gives Spy Optic the edge over Oakley. Parks and Danny didn't ride and Shane was the highest placer in 9th for 51 points.

Hyperlite 372.5
Jet Pilot 366
Liquid Force 353
Fox 302
Correct Craft 263
MC 223.5
CWB 219.5
Tige 219
Supra 203
Ronix 192
Malibu 183
Spy Optic 173
Oakley 164
Straightline 115.5
Obrien 76
Gator 65
Dragon 40
Arnette 40
MB 36
J Star 18
Crue 12
