Where can i buy a Walzer. I live in So Cal and would to see and touch before I buy. Actually I would prefer a demo, but I don't think thats realistic.

caskimmer 02-26-2007 3:46 PM

where exactly? I might be able to do something for you.

awl 02-26-2007 3:58 PM

I live in Murrieta. Demo?

caskimmer 02-26-2007 4:05 PM

I think we can manage that. What type of weight range are we looking at?

awl 02-26-2007 6:19 PM

I'm interested in two boards. One for myself, I'm 160lbs and want fast board that will release for air. The second board is for my wife. she is 110, but doesn't look an ounce over a 100lbs (in case she's reading). She has more of a soul rider style. Currently, we both ride the hyperlite Coex.

awl 02-28-2007 9:14 AM

Sean,

I replied to your PM, but never got a reply back. let me know if you didn't get it.

caskimmer 02-28-2007 10:10 AM

no I didn't and this is the 2nd one in 24 hours I found out I missed, I'm thinking my spam filter might be too strong. here's my personal email- swardphoto@yahoo.com

(Message edited by CAskimmer on February 28, 2007)

awl 02-28-2007 10:22 AM

I just PM you!

awl 03-04-2007 7:44 PM

Sean,
Sean,

Thanks for the Demo! What a difference a board makes. Walzers are so much more light and manuverable than I'm used to. Also, I like the 3' of air or your money back garauntee. J/K, The board is exactly what I had in mind to progress. Again, Thanks for coming out with us. I still can't believe you only used a spring suit! have you thawed out yet?

three6ty 03-05-2007 9:27 PM

AWL,
If you ever need a third shoot me an e-mail. I live in Murrieta as well.
Those Walzer boards are amazing. I still have to pick mine up from Clubmike.

Sean- Any new board designs coming out?

awl 03-06-2007 7:32 AM

Three6ty,

I'll keep you in mind. I plan on going out mostly mid week. What's your schedule like midweek?

caskimmer 03-06-2007 4:57 PM

Alan, I'm not going to lie. I was still cold when I went to sleep Sunday. Thanks again for the pull.

three6ty- yes, new 2 sizes of the present 1" twin, a pro model or 2, and at least 1 completely new line. At least that's what I heard.

03-06-2007 6:51 PM

One complete new line? Not again Sean!? Give it up dude!

caskimmer 03-06-2007 7:09 PM

what can I say, I like to try new things. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't but I'll never give it up.

edit: and the 2nd line Walzer actually wanted to develop 1st it's just that we were both happier with the way early 1" twins turned out so he decided to run with that 1st.

2nd edit: (the only thing stopping both lines from being introduced at the same time last year was we weren't happy with the fin options currently available.)

(Message edited by CAskimmer on March 06, 2007)

(Message edited by CAskimmer on March 06, 2007)

03-07-2007 4:56 AM

I know the whole "that didn't work" concept pretty well myself. When you discuss the fin options, you're using something different than the Future's 2 3/8's?

awl 03-07-2007 7:18 AM

Sean,

What's the "new line" going to be like? Would it be better for my wife?

caskimmer 03-07-2007 7:26 AM

it might, but I was actually thinking of loaning you an older prototype made from different materials that I think might be the solution. I'm running out the door for work but I'll explain it to you this evening

three6ty 03-09-2007 10:21 PM

AWl
,
Unfortunately I am usually out of town Monday through wed or thursday. Work from my home office on friday.

New job has me traveling all over the place. But when it slows down I will be home a little more during the week.
Keep my e-mail handy. webbec@msn.com

awl 03-12-2007 9:00 PM

Sean, i never got a break down of the "new line."

three6ty, got it. I'll e-mail if I ever need a third.

buzz_grande 04-05-2007 9:35 PM

dejoeco 04-06-2007 7:24 AM

Hard to find people selling wakesurf equipment in west central Florida. The more I ride, the more I want to try new stuff before purchasing

fletch_tx 04-10-2007 3:38 PM

it's soooo frustrating picking out a surf board....if you're kinda new to it! I'd love to pick up a shred stixx, Phase 5, Walzer or some other high end board. anyone have any suggestions for somebody that's 5'7 155/160....but would like to get a board that just about anyone can get on and ride. I can always get something a little more specialized later on. I don't want a board that's a cruiser only though....something you can have some fun on would be nice!

stusumm 04-10-2007 5:25 PM

fletch - Wave me down or we can hook up and ride sometime and you can try out my Walzer. We are always on LA between Apache and Quinlan.

dennish 04-10-2007 6:59 PM

Hey Mark,
Try a Walker Composite X
http://www.thewalkerproject.com/category_s/3.htm#
The 4'5" model is a high performance board for only $299.00

riverrunner 04-11-2007 12:20 PM

Fletcher meet us up at LBJ the weekend of the 20th of April, I will have couple of new boards with me if you want to try them out a whole stack between all of us.

freeride22 04-11-2007 3:19 PM

Hey Jeff,

I am new to the thread and discussion but noticed that you ride on Folsom...I live in Folsom and always down to ride...have an 01 wakesetter vlx...hit me up sometime if you want to ride...also...anyone interested on a inland surfer? Yellow Lugie...I want to get something else this year...lots of talk about these Walzer boards...anyone have one in this area?

(Message edited by freeride22 on April 11, 2007)

04-11-2007 3:41 PM

Hey Gino,

Not sure if you were referring to me or not, we ride on New Hogan, but Dennis is on Folsom frequently. We have an older 1" Walzer that you're welcome to try. I think that James may be riding it in some upcoming contests, but after or in between I can send it up with Dennis if you want to give it a rip.

On your Yellow What year? No delam or cracks? How much are you wanting for it?

freeride22 04-11-2007 4:07 PM

oh my bad...I thought you were around here...must have been Dennis...I believe the Yellow is a 05...bought at the end of 05 summer and rode it last summer...no delam...it does have one small crack to the gel coat around the nose but other than that is is super clean...haven't really put much thought into a price but if your interested we can figure something out.

fletch_tx 04-12-2007 11:37 AM

KenW - thanks for the invite, but that's my Bday weekend and we already have some plans.....maybe another time?

hyperlite4life 04-28-2007 8:23 AM
