Can anyone recommend a houseboat rental on Powell out of Wahweap? Has anyone been there this season? I know the lake level is low, is it managable?

Thanks!

Go out of Antelope it is halfway through the narrows and they load all of your stuff for free. Same prices as Wahweap for houseboats. Google antelope marina houseboat rental.

The lake is fine. It is coming up rapidly and by the end of June will be hopefully at 3620 ft. It is at 3593 ft right now and is coming up about 4 inches a day.
Good luck. Im going in June, August and Sept.
I cant wait

Bruce, definitely book it out of Antelope like E Dub recommended. I think it saves you close to 10 miles of lake travel on your way up the lake. There is really no benefit to launching out of Wahweap as opposed to Antelope.

Thanks all. We're looking at going mid July. It'll be hot but what the hey!

It will be hot....like the surface of Hell....

But as long as you get one of the houseboats that have central air(NOT EVAPORATIVE!!), you will be fine. I love Powell and it is a GREAT place to vacation.
