Is there a way to hook up an ipod up through the amp or something... I don't have a hook up on the back of my radio, and I hate the way FM transmitters sound.... let me know

THANKS,
CHRIS

If you have a cd changer hook up you can do it. Just go to radio shack and buy an audio(red/white) with headphone jack cable. You should have this as most stereo hookups do. It is a cheap cable. You could spend $30 and get the monster cable.

Don't waste your money on a uselss monster cable. It won't make any difference.

If you don't have the CD changer option, get an HK Drive & Play off of fleabay. Since HK came out with the new one, fleabay is loaded down with the older units that can be had for less than a buck.

Im confused... I have a 2005 x-star, I dont know if it has any hook ups for a CD changer... how do I know??
|
if you have an amp that controls all your speakers you can run straight into the amp with RCA, not the best option but it works

or just go to walmart spend like $80 and get a new headunit

Chris, I have an 05 X-45 and have cd changer hook ups. More then likely so do you. If you look behind the actual cd deck underneath you will see the red/white hook ups. You will have to crawl in the hatch and look up to see it.
