Fuel sender question

Took the boat in to get winterized by the dealer and had them look into why gas gauge is not working. They said the fuel sender was bad and I've decided to replace it myself. My question is are all senders interchangeable or do I need a specific one. My boat is a 03' supra launch ssv, thanks for any help in advance.

Write the number down that's stamped on your sender and google it... There are universal ones out there that you have to adjust but it's easier for you to swap out a direct replacement unit... and 2 wires..

I replaced the sender on my 95 MC. I found the place that makes senders for MC and when I called them, they said they make senders for most boats. The place is called Centroid Products. Mary there had all the answers and their tech guys talked me through the install. See link below
