We've decided to try trinity lake for our week long trip this season, does anyone know of nice lodging on the water (cabins/resorts). Any suggestions are appreciated.

first off good choice! Trinity is my fav lake! as far as accomidations on the water unfortunately your choices are limited... your best bet will be pinewood cove resort, they have cabins/trailers for rent and is a great family orientated resort... bad news is there is a little walk to the lake but its gonna be that way anywhere on trinity.. there is also wyntoon resort but thats at the wrong end of the lake for great water..

I went to trinity last summer for 4 days on a houseboat. It was beautiful but the water seemed really choppy all the time accpt when it started getting dark. We wakesufed more then wakeboarded

We went last year around mid July and are going again this July with a group of about 10-15 friends. 2 Supremes too! We stayed at Wyntoon resort. They have boat slips and cabin/cottages within walking distance to the water. I think a couple years ago they were bought by KOA Kampgrounds of America. Should be on their website. I think it's KOA.com. I've got a bunch of pics I'll PM you as well. Trinity lake is awesome. I can't wait to get back there again this year. Except for having surgery a couple weeks ago.

I'll be headed back to trinity this July as well. We camped at Wyntoon. Since they were bought by KOA the property seems better kept. Great prices and nice secure boat slips. We had awesome water all week besides one stormy night. Wakeboarded from 8 to 12 and 4 to 8. I cant wait to get back. If you see a boat with wakeside on it, hit us up for some t shirts and stickers. Not sure which boat it will be yet.

Wyntoon Resort/

Hey Spencer what time in July are you guys going to be there. We'll be there July 14 to 21st. Are you guys going to be in the Cabin/Cottages whatever they are called there in Wyntoon? I think we have cabins 16 - 21. It's the last 5 or 6 cabins down that row. We'll have to break some bread if you are down there same time. When were you there last year. I think we were there July 8th - 15th. If memory serves me.

Dan, we didn't have any trouble finding good water. There was only 1 day that got stormy but the water was great all day besides that. Never got crowded either.
