The "pro" editions i.e. FW800 go for more than that I believe. Sounds like a decent deal to me.

I think I just paid around $120 for that exact drive at Fry's. It's the FW800/400/usb right? Apple store is always full retail. If you haven't opened it send it back.

I'd send it back if possible and then never ever buy anything from the Apple store ever again for the reason that Rich mentioned.

Are you guys talking about the "My Books" ? Ive nothing but issues with those drives. They especially don't like HD, or at least from the experiences that ive had. <BR> <BR>I use the G Drives/ G Drive Q if i have to get an external. Does anyone else use this brand?

i've used "my book" and had no issues with it. you can get a 1tb "my book" for $200 at fry's.

I have 2 my book HD's and they have been great. Getting ready to get another one.

Or cut your price in half and try selling for that because that's honestly all you're gonna fetch for your HD. I know that's not what you wanna hear but nobody's gonna just buy your unit when they can buy it for the same $$ from a legit shop and not have to worry about getting dicked over by some dude who they've never seen post on this site before.
