aussie_stu 11-30-2008 5:41 PM

48 = 9 degrees celcius = you guys are NUTS <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/crazy.gif" border=0>

lfrider92 11-30-2008 6:37 PM

haha. coldd. id rather wear a wet suit then a dry suit. my 7 mm is soo comfortable. <BR> <BR>btw the 3rd picture is so sick

downfortheride 11-30-2008 7:14 PM

Thanks David C., but when it's in the 50's I like a "dry" suit rather than any "wet" suit. No matter what, were still riding in Utah!

ryan_shima1 11-30-2008 7:28 PM

Hey Josh &amp; Dave, nice pic's and looks like you had some epic water today. Wish I could have made it out with you but work has been keeping me busy. I hope you guys get to ride next week because I'm living vicariously through you right now. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/lol.gif" border=0>

lfrider92 11-30-2008 7:53 PM

josh, <BR>all their own. everyone has their own preference. i scuba dive, so im used to wearing wet suits and i just dont find dry suits to be comfortable. i was just expressing my oppinion. its just about time to pull the wet suits out in nor cal! <BR> <BR>like i said. sick pics! keep it up man

wakeboardern1 11-30-2008 8:06 PM

Pfft. I rode 45 degree water 68 air with nothin but trunks and a vest last spring. Wimps. <BR> <BR>However, I won't be doing that again.

jayp 11-30-2008 9:41 PM

Spectacular!

cavlxenvy 12-01-2008 7:42 AM

Nice pics but when the water is colder than the ocean.... I'll stay at home.

westsiderippa 12-01-2008 9:56 AM

Hey josh looking good man. Nice to you guys holding it down out there. We don't get that cold on the D. But The crowds an the butter make up for the bone chillin water. I know my season won't end until the day before spring ride and the it starts again. LOL

wakemikey 12-01-2008 10:42 AM

I didn't know Utah got that cold I thought you were more like N Ca

mattjj23 12-01-2008 10:57 AM

Nice pics. If I would not have already winterized my boat I would have been out this weekend also. It was 65 degrees here in north eastern oregon.

petew 12-01-2008 11:40 AM

hey high howdy! this is my very first post on this forum! iv been a big wake world fan for ages years and years but just recently started looking at the forum. just signed up and thought id have my first post here as im used to riding in the cold! i operate at a cableski in the uk and on sat we measured the water at 2.3 degrees celcius were still going strong though and we will all winter through snow and if the ice lets us! heres a clip from last year: <BR><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDRKik6kP70" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDRKik6kP70</a> <BR>i ride both wetsuit and drysuit probably prefer dry suit right now!

petew 12-01-2008 11:41 AM

o and that lake looks sooooooo sweet! calm and flat i like!

sean7791 12-01-2008 11:43 AM

not that cold. I rode in water 38 degrees in a wetsuit. I was dying though

12-01-2008 2:51 PM

Flaky paint on the PP gauge, what kind of GHETTO A$$ boat are you ridding behind?

downfortheride 12-01-2008 3:21 PM

David ~~ Well let's see... I was riding with you and your boat, and your profile says 02 Super Air! I think it's about time to update your gauge, LOL. Next Sunday looks like it will be good at 50 deg.

dcb 12-01-2008 4:30 PM

What time did you guys go out? I thought I was the only one still riding ut lake. I didn't get that good of water yesterday but today was great. First time riding in december for me. Just finished winterizing my boat again.

kylepower8 12-01-2008 4:49 PM

damn, i wish i could ride this late. I think the latest i've gone is the first weekend of october, up here in new england.

spencerpeterson85 12-01-2008 5:15 PM

December 4th was the latest we got out on Pineview last year. I believe the gauge said the water was 38. I broke my f'ing tailbone on the stupid orange buoys by the dam that day...don't try to slide those things.(Hindsight is 20/20) We're hitting up Havasu in a week and a half though!! <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/biggrin.gif" border=0>I can't wait!

downfortheride 12-01-2008 6:58 PM

DC &amp; Spencer ~~ Hit up <a href="http://www.downfortheride.com" target="_blank">www.downfortheride.com</a> and check out more pics of the DFTR crew and catch a pull. I know we are trying to get out in Dec since neither of us has ever. We have been meeting up at noon :03 and getting to the Harbor just before one. DC I need your number so I can call you for Lake conditions, LOL. This late in the year we ride Pelican if the wind allows.

deuce 12-01-2008 7:08 PM

Josh, you are a nutcase......<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/rofl.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>I don't like my boat being outside this time of year, let alone on the water.....

deuce 12-01-2008 7:11 PM

I just told Michelle and showed her the pics, she confirms.... <BR> <BR>"that's like really crazy...." <BR> <BR>"Who has their boat still ready to go?" <BR> <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/rofl.gif" border=0>
