Boarding near Richardson, TX?
 

May be heading down that way mid April and curious if there is anything to do around there. Will be in town for a week attending class.

Anything local that is fun to do?

The new cable park will be open, but it about a 2 hour drive from Richardson. It is called Wakesport Ranch. Lake Lavon is real close to Richardson, the water will still be pretty cold though. The Warming Hut boardshop is in Richardson

WakeSport Ranch is not that far away, if you want to ride DFW's first Cable Park.

Umm, how about wakeboard?! I live in Richardson. When are you coming down? There are a couple of lakes (Lavon and Hubbard) that aren't going to be too far from you. Depending on when you come there should be a lot of people available to ride both through www.dallaswakeboarding.com and www.wakeboardchurch.com.

Was thinking about trying the cable park thing. Couldn't remember if it was close to Dallas or not. Never been to a park, and we don't have any of them anywhere up here.

Yeah, I live in Wylie but that's not too far from Richardson. Hit us up when you are in town and see if we all can go out!

Check out www.txmcwakepark.com. Much closer to Richardson (45 min) and you'll be able to ride the System 2.0 cable or behind an X-Star.
