Spec sheet says weight is 3,880...anyone know if that includes trailer or not? I am also looking at Centurian Lightening C4 with weight of 2,900...is Tige really that much heavier? My tow capacity on 4Runner is 5,000lbs and trying to figure out if Tige would work. Please help. Thx

Some brands are a little heavier than others. My Session weighs 3900 and change. The weight on the Tige is without trailer unless stated.

Yes, that is the weight without the trailer. Tige is heavier than most, due to thicker fiberglass.

I have a V6 Toyota that I use to pull my 24V with and it is a struggle up the hills. I don't use it to go further than 10-15 miles (I then use the DIESEL!). A trailer will probably weigh over 1,000 pounds as well.

SO, basically I'd be @ 3900 + 1000 = 4900 without any fuel or gear...probably too heavy for the V6 4Runner

possibly 1500 on the trailer if it's tandum. And I'd say yes, to heavy for that vehicle. Don't forget to add another 300 LBS of gas and atleast 200 LBS of gear. My boat weighs 3975 + 1500 trailer + 350 gas + 300 gear + 300 stereo and extra batteries. How easy a 4000 boat turns into a 6500 towing nightmare for a small tow rig. That isn't even counting the 1000LBS of pop bags.

Too heavy depends on how far you intend to trailer and over what kind of terrain?

hey, we tow our tige with a v6 honda oddesy, we dont put gear in it though, we dont have trouble, i dont know how it measures up to a 4 runner, just some more info for you.

it all depends on how far you're towing. we tow my buddy's ps190 w/ tandem trailer and 2 people about 0.5 miles from the ramp to the house...with a POLARIS RANGER! that is rad. buuuut, it's only a half mile and has locking hubs so it gets tons of traction at the ramp.
