I imported my boat from California to NZ a few months ago, but the shipping company lost my spare wheel.

Just wanting to know what make and model of rim this is, and where i could potentially get one from.

Ive emailed VMMarine trailers, but they havent got back to me

Boats a 97 V210

Cheers

That's a pretty generic wheel. Go to westmarine.com, overtons.com, barts.com -- they all carry it. Should set you back $150 or so total. Good luck.

Do a search on the web for trailer wheels. You'll find those virtually anywhere. They should be 14x6 inch Chrome Modular Wheels 5 on 4 1/2 bolt circle.

Here's just one example, search and you might find 'em cheaper or a wakeworlder might have one laying around.

http://www.trailer-wheels.com/14-inch-Chrome-Modular-Wheel-5-on-4-12_p_577.html

Byron, is that your exact boat? If so, you scored! I work across the street (not the social security building) and saw it out there one afternoon and knew it wouldn't last long...

Those wheels are very common. I wouldn't pay more than $80 for a new wheel. I bought my spare from southwest wheel.

http://www.southwestwheel.com/store/c-50-chrome-trailer-wheels.aspx

Discount Tire/Americas Tire or Discount Tire Direct carries them in a name brand called Unique.

Wow, that boat with a tower will look dead sexy. That is one of the best looking V210's I have ever seen. If you put a tower on it go white.

By the way I have zero input on the wheels.

Well done Mikeski...

razzman 12-05-2009 5:47 AM

Mikeski those are a great price except they ship ups ground USA only. No international shipping, he's in NZ.

99_slaunch 12-05-2009 8:42 AM

That's what they cost from Discount Tire but no shiping fee. I paid $35.00 plus tax for my spare rim just like it.

supra 12-05-2009 10:39 AM

I may be way wrong but I'd look local as they are generic trailer wheels also on horse trailers ect.

I thought they were zero offset. Not sure of the bolt pattern but I thought I read Ford rangers and older mustangs had the same offset. Those are probably 14" but 15" are common as well, just got compensate on the tire sidewall height.

He's in New Zealand guys, so shipping would be $$$

nauti4life 12-05-2009 3:27 PM

14x6 or 14x7 wheel with a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. They should have wheel size on the inside of the other wheels. Good luck.

rio_sanger 12-05-2009 5:38 PM

That is pretty much the most common wheel that came on boat trailers since the invention of the wheel. (well almost) Should be a dime a dozen at wrecking /salvage yards. Although in NZ they may not be as common. If it's just for a spare, it wouldn't really matter if it matched, as long as it fits, and is the same size as your stock wheels.

BTW That is one very clean and nice looking '97 V-210!!

Hi guys, thanks for the kind comments.

The boat was for sale for quite some time in fact, but it is in pretty good condition. Ive now put a tower on it and spent last weekend rewelding the guards on.

Thanks for all of the links. I will send these to the shipping company who can arrange purchase. No worries about shipping as they will arrange them, rather it was more the wheel i was interested in tracking down. Thanks for the help.
