My 2004 22v blows a fuse seriously every time I pluf the launch pad pump into the outlet. I even installed a 40 amp when it calls for a 30... Anyone know how to solve this problem?? I always shut everything else off while Im running the pumps too.. <BR> <BR>Thanks

I agree, you have a problem somewhere and most likely with the pump. What kind of pump? An areator (like a fly high tsunami) don't nearly pull that amount of amps. Even a jabsco ballast puppy wouldn't blow a 40 amp (or even a 20 amp) fuse. The other option is that the wires are bad between the plug and the fuse which is less likely. try another pump first

Plug that pump into another 12v outlet (like your car) and see if it will run then. Sounds like the pump. open the pump and make sure something did not jam the impeller. I had a piece of carpet get sucked up and jamed the pump then it blew my breaker.

I have seen this a lot on tigeowners. Check and make sure the positive and negative connections on the outlet are not backwards. That has always been the problem I have seen.

Ok, I have launch pad uber pumps, they are both new, i've used both of them and still having troubles. Im going to go check the outlet now.. Thanks Bret

Brandon, <BR> <BR>My was doing the same and I suspect it is pump related. I have found however that if I drain the bag without draining the other two at the same time I don't blow the fuse. Interesting...I can drain the center and left together but as soon as I drain the right...pop!

Well, All my outlets are wired correctly and I used 2 new pumps and it still did it.. I am going to hard wire it to my battery and put a switch on it. If it causes a fire i will be sitting right there and throw the pump in the lake <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/rofl.gif" border=0> Im so frustrated right now I dont even care!

if it burns up, throw all the evidence of hard wiring it to the battery in the water too.
