Fake Wall - Amp Rack

I'm working on my amp rack in the boat, trying to get this knocked out before memorial day. Thoughts on using PVC Trim that's been gorilla glued to the side of a hull? This is for the left side compartment of a malibu. I've heard of people using trex but the pvc is supposedly water proof and a bit cheaper.... Lemme know if there is a glaring problem with that stuff or if i'm okay to move forward! :)

Thanks guys!

I used cutting board from Academy for mine. I'm getting ready to redo mine soon.

I'm no stereo guru, but I am a carpenter and Gorilla glue is a pain and not that reliable for non porous materials. Gorilla glue cures off of the moisture in the material. I would use Polyurethane construction adhesive like this stuff, http://www.stickwithpl.com/Products....9-a343f2ef9458. I have used pretty muck every type of adhesive and this is the one that never fails me. You can get it at Home Depot or Lowe's, just don't get it on your carpet.

Hope this helps.

I just used MDF and Resin coated it, then attached it to the back wall of our Malibu. I then just screwed it to the wall
