Im concerned about my oil pressure running to high and was wondering what yours are running at? Also I think my gas gauge is not working correctly and I thinking this "problem" may be effecting the psi read out as well. Perhaps its the brain cpu thing is bad or a bad connection somewhere.. Im planning on contacting my dealer on Monday. THanks in advance for your suggestions and or ideas.

CDM

CDM,
I could just be the oil pressure sender. Mine reads high. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a $10 manual oil pressure gauge but yet to check it out.
Gas gauge...I won't ever trust mine. It's reference only. I'll always look at the actual level in the tank.
Paul

lol gas gauge.. that's a good one!! 3/4 tank left!!! $109 to fill at gas dock!!!!

more like 3/4 empty!!

Yes I always check it manually!

As for oil pressure... pressure shows a little high when running at speed... I believe it's normal.. low pressure would be a concern!

i would check with a manual gauge. But i wouldn't be concerned until the alarm goes off.

When you do your next oil change us an engine flush additive prior to removing the oil. This should remove any sludge or debris that may be raising your oil pressure. I would not be overly concerned with high oil pressure as this is actually a good thing, as long as it is not rediculusly high. Low oil pressure is a much larger concern.

T-Bag is right. Too much oil pressure is like too much beer on the boat. Its rare.
