slingshot board with ronix bindings

I just bought a 2012 slingshot recoild and put my 2011 ronix cells on it. There is a little rock on the bindings, is that ok?

Hi Ted.

Ronix bindings, unfortunately sometimes end up having a little bit of rock with them. I've got a 2012 Kine with 2011 Ronix Cells, and they've held on there extremely well.

My only recommendation is make sure those suckers are LOCKED onto that track. That'll be a big help.

Here's some ideas on how to lock those boots down best.

Locking them tight is just pinching them as best as you can to the board, correct?

Exactly, Ted.

The Ronix boots have those little binding teeth and the rubber tooth inserts, and the Slingshot cap and anchor pieces you would use to attach the boot to the fast track are designed for the flat surface you'd get on a Slingshot boot.

I posted the link above to give you a few ideas on how to get those Ronix boots on your board as tight as possible. I'd recommend what was done in this picture (pulled it from the link posted above) Without doing that, your odds of those boots loosening, sliding, etc... are a bit higher. This ensures more mounting hardware to boot contact.
