Getting ready to pull the trigger on some Strandwoven Bamboo floors. I have narrowed it down to two options. The first is like any other laminated click lock (4mm of bamboo on 5 layers of plywood), The other is 3MM of bamboo on a HDF core. The HDF is $1.00 cheaper and @ 1200 sf thats a big savings. Anyone ever work with HDF core flooring?

Yep, that is what I used. I thought it was easier to do the harder pieces like in closets and around door jambs because you can shave the tongue of the piece with a razor knife, then glue them down. Some of the pieces are kind of hard to get together in tight areas.

I have a tap block and a metal pull bar that helps click the pieces together when you get close to a wall. If you want them I can send them to you. PM me your address if you want them.
