Changing Binding laces

I am thinking about putting in some colored laces into my old pair of 3DS bindings, seems like a lot of people do this. I assume most people are just using shoelaces?

Yes. The laces on my Liquid Force Harleys (first 2011 and now 2012) are crap and strip all the time. I've been replacing them with shoe laces and I've never had one strip or break on me ever. They just work better. Pretty much any kind of shoe lace will work as long as it will fit through the standard draws/clasps/ends.

If not, you can get rid of all those plastic parts and just tie them. Some people prefer this, but I like having the clasps because I think it makes it easier to tighten the laces and keep 'em tight. Some people like to replace their laces with different colors that look cooler, but I just grab whatever laces CVS happens to have. Right now, I have four different laces in my boots.
