I'm getting a ProFlight Bat Box through the Malibuboatowners.com group buy. <BR> <BR>I believe if you get it loaded with speakers, it comes with JL Audio (NOT JBL as the post says) 3 way 6x9's. <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.jlaudio.com/evolution/TR690TX.html" target="_blank">http://www.jlaudio.com/evolution/TR690TX.html</a> <BR> <BR>With speakers, the box is $700, without it's $450. Is there a better suited 6x9 for a tower in this price range?

You can get the mb quart 6x9s for right around that price off of ebay.

The JL's arent that bad sounding... When it comes to 6x9's your options are limit less. The best thing to do is just make sure whatever is up there can handle the power your gonna send to it and taylor the speaker that way.

So why the hell are the boxes $450 wow, someone is in the right business. Does anyone else's butt hurt? <BR> <BR>And finally where can you find some reasonable boxes for mounting to a tower?
