Shipping Wake Surfer?

Hello. My wife and I have a 2 year old Phase Five Prop that we are looking to sell as it has only been used a handful of times. The board is great, but I am a bit on the heavy side for it and my wife prefers surf style more.

What is the best way to package a board like this for shipping?

I am no expert but I have shipped and received many boards over the years :)

The most important part is to put extra protection over the tip and the tail. Think extra cardboard if you have it. Then lots of bubble and shrink wrap over and around the entire board and then fit it all in one long, thin box.

Tip and tail are most important and it's sometimes difficult to find the right sized box. You can find a longer one and cut it down shorter if you need to.

good luck

i had one shipped to me and they put pipe insulation around the edges of the board. great idea imo.

good advice above. Get some of the grey pipe insulation from Home Depot or Lowes and wrap it around all the edges in bubble wrap with extra padding at the nose & tail. Also, mark the outside of the box in BIG writing, "GLASS - DO NOT STACK, then cross your fingers.
