Do you always have to turn the boat when wakesurfing because wen i ride i just drive straight and i ride fine. Would my surf be better if i was turning my boat?

Turning toward the surf side slightly will increase your wake height. Personally I prefer just riding straight lines

k because when i pull people and i try turning the boat a little bit, it doesn't make a huge difference in my opinion

Turning isn't about wake size, it's usually about cleaning up the wake. On some boats a slight turn can clean up a bad goofy wake.

Mastercraft.. Straight ahead

Natique usually requires a lil turn to keep the wash out because of the reversed prop

Thank you for the correction Show. I knew something wasn't right about my reply after I had typed it. Total brain fart last night.

Sorry if I mixed you up Ryan.

we generally go straight unless we have to turn for something.

however, when i see the rider start to fall back towards the back of the pocket and are struggling to get back into the sweet spot, a slight turn towards the weighted side of the boat will often give them a little push to get back into the wake.

Straight when possible.
