When I cut away from the wake toeside and try to transition back to the wake heelside I loose all my speed. So when I go to jump I have no speed. What do I need to do to keep the speed. I can do it fine the opposite way.

I'm no expert but I can tell you it's not about speed. It's more about a progressive edge meaning you want to turn out and stop for a few seconds and then slowly start your cut edging harder and harder as you approach the wake. When you hit the wake make sure your board stays on edge and don't flatten out. The edge and line tension is what gives you pop not speed.

Kyle, I'm sure someone else on here will brake it down better for you and it will be more clear.
Good luck,
Walt

Kyle-
Are you using a non-strech rope? Like Walt said, speed is not as important as a proper cut. Check out the link he posted, there are great pointers in there.
