It was a great tournament. My brother and I went on Sunday and the riders threw down. We got to meet almost all of the pros and got most of their autographs. Each one was great. I tell people why I like wakeboarding so much and I always say because the pros are some of the most down to earth, nicest people on the planet. The fact that they cheer for each other like it is one big family. You don't get that anywhere else in competition but action sports. Each one acted more then than happy to sign our boards and we really appreciated it. It was a great weekend.

Small Question. How is Laura Lohrmann Listed as sixth But then has the 4th best score?

They actually had the riders out of order. Laura did get 4th. Good catch.

Rathy got hosed, while I admit Rusty stomped a BS 7 off the Dup, didn't Rathy do that off the wake? Which is harder? Didn't Rusty fall on his first pass? Also Rathy killed it on the rails! To see the point difference was a shock. Then again I guess I always root for the underdog.

On a side note, the webcast was the coolest thing to hit wake comps since rails. Keep that trend going, AWESOME!!

The new scoring system this year requires balance. Spinning is 22.5% of the total including any spin on the Double-up. A 1080 would not guarantee a win if the rider did not do well in tech, rails, big air, and overall. It use to feel like there were "trump" cards, ie 900's, it doesn't work that way with the new system.

Yeah, judges had a hard work yesterday on the pro finals; In my opinion Rathy should have won the champs (Whirly 5, TS BS 540 Off Axis Sick !!, HS BS 720 w2w, KGB, Pete, Hs 720 2up; good sliding; didnīt fall);

Rusty pass was insane/sick, results were close.....I think intesity was the factor that got Rusty at the top; judges are looking for big air always.......

A surprise for me was Olivier Derome, never heard of him before, that guys goes big and rides with lotīs of style...

Last, thanks for the sponsors of the webcast to provide us with that media; followed all tournment here in Brazil, amazing.....they need to webcast all professional events next year !
