Grenade! please.

vin 01-06-2010 11:56 AM

wow, where is that.

denverd1 01-06-2010 12:04 PM

Um.. What is that stuff on the ground they're all licking? <BR> <BR>Closed for deer feeding?

wakeboardsam 01-06-2010 12:07 PM

My mom sent the pictures to me with no explanation.

mammoth 01-06-2010 12:16 PM

<i>wow, where is that</i> <BR> <BR>Obviously somewhere that they don't issue doe tags.

psudy 01-06-2010 12:23 PM

antifreeze from a leaky snowmobile.

polarbill 01-06-2010 12:23 PM

Minnesota <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.wsbt.com/younews/41086242.html" target="_blank">http://www.wsbt.com/younews/41086242.html</a>

guido 01-06-2010 12:28 PM

Sure looks like someone put food down on the trail.

denverd1 01-06-2010 12:45 PM

Somewhere they <i>need</i> to issue doe tags. Those deer couldn't live on their own.

polarbill 01-06-2010 12:56 PM

If you look at the link I posted in the comments section someone posted that the snowmobiles clear the snow enough that the deer can get to the grass under. Not sure if that is possible or not but it makes some sense. It would also make sense that someone put a bunch of food down to get a cool pic.

roverjohn 01-06-2010 1:06 PM

And deer are generally lazy and will follow trails even if machines are making them.

roverjohn 01-06-2010 1:12 PM

I just looked and Minn does not allow very much antlerless hunting. And their landowner licensing scheme is crazy but that's OT.

sinkoumn 01-06-2010 1:40 PM

Giant rats that are only good for two things: feeding wolves and jumping in front of your vehicle while you're going 80mph down the freeway...

denverd1 01-06-2010 1:43 PM

^ Sounds like they chase snowmobiles too...

roverjohn 01-06-2010 1:59 PM

Imagine coming over a hill at 70 and seeing that.<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/blush.gif" border=0>

wakereviews 01-06-2010 2:11 PM

I disagree Sinko, Venison sausage and burger is pretty good IMO. My brother in law makes some good cheese and jalepeno deer sausage.

zo1 01-06-2010 2:18 PM

Corned venison is the best! <BR> <BR>I'll take venison over any other meat any day of the week. Kinda funny that I don;t hunt but will eat the hell out them...

jon4pres 01-07-2010 7:26 AM

It is also pretty obvious that these deer have been fed this way for a long time by how close they are to that guy. <BR> <BR>Deer like any other animal(including humans)will gather by the thousands and put their fears aside for a handout.

stroh 01-07-2010 8:00 AM

Jerky Jerky Jerky Jerky!!!!

roverjohn 01-07-2010 8:25 AM

I wonder if people are baiting the deer to prevent snowmobiles from passing by their property?

pierce_bronkite 01-07-2010 8:31 AM

Man, just give me a bow and a few arrows. Im sure there is a big buck somewhere off the side of the trail.

duramat 01-07-2010 2:00 PM

Looks like HWY 89 through Willard to Brigham City (orchards),,,but them are alive <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/proud.gif" border=0>

sinkoumn 01-07-2010 2:08 PM

And I'd hate to be the second guy on a sled following the leader through that stretch of trail on a snowmobile, flying deer poo

mikes 01-07-2010 6:21 PM

That's a snowmobilers second worst nightmare right there.
