Big Props to Sea Dek!!!

I blew out a fender a while back on my MC trailer. The tire went out and destroyed the rear portion of the fiberglass fender with it. Could not be repaired. $900 later, and I have a new fender, but it does not come with any grip to it. I was hoping to just find something to match the other side that was just plain black rubber traction pads. But a guy on TMCowners.com pointed me in the way of Sea Dek and he had a great experience with getting some Sea Dek for his trailer.

I was able to customize the order for an extra $20.

Let me know what you think of this:

That is how the new MB trailers are coming from the factory. Sea Dek is good stuff. I am curious to see if it gets stains from leaves or muddy water.

I will see if I hate getting sand down in the mastercraft letters as I get some time with it. Every lake I go to is usually pretty clean, so I don't think that will be a big deal.

Didn't mean for my post to sound negative. I love the stuff so far and it looks awesome on your boat too. If it holds up well, I think they are going to be #1 in the industry in no time.

Didn't take it negatively. It is a valid concern. The letters are cut out of the gray and simply reveal the black underneath, so I think it is going to collect some sand and dust. Time will tell how much of a PIA it might be. But many mfg's swim platforms are made this way now, so I don't think it will be a big deal.

Just replaced my swim platform with Seadek this fall... hope it lasts as long as it looks good and feels good. How about some more pics of the rest of your boat?

Nice ............. gotta love the seadek. Wouldn't use anything different on the swim platform. It'd be nice if my floor was made of the stuff!

Looks nice.

Seadeck works great for dog grip, too. :)

How much did it cost. My Nautique decal is coming off and needs to be replaced. I guess they can make anything you want. I'd like to see one that says, "Swamp Life"

You can call them and they can tell you how much it costs for your specific need.

The stuff I got was about $240 for the fenders and the pad in front and behind the fender you see on each side.

I saw some on a 2009 Epic the other day on the fender. it looked terrible. Almost like they spilled motor oil on it or something. Has me a little worried, but time will tell if the Seadek on that boat was abused, or if it will just collect stains that way. The Seadek on the interior of the Epic (it did not have carpet) was in pretty decent shape and the boat had 280 hours on it. There were a fair amount of nicks and scratches on it, but I still felt like it was very comfortable.
