I am just needing a suggestion for a new board. I am probably an intermediate rider and am looking to get a new board but am unsure of the length I need. I am a 130 pounds and am about 5'3" I was looking at a 130 or 134 but didn't know which was better. If anyone has any suggestions

i would go w/the 134 cause longer is better or look at a 132

i don't necessarily agree that longer is better..you aren't going to see a whole lot of difference in 2 inches, but this is where it gets important to demo boards and try the different styles and sizes before buying.l.on the wakeworld home page there is a tab on the left that says "Board Wizard"..try that oujt..it will give you an idea of what to look for! good luck!

with a longer board you get a smoother ride and is easier on your legs.

Do you think that I would get more pop with a shorter board around 130. I am looking to by a Diva, what do you guys think. I am using my brothers' LF 139 and know it isn't right.

I'm sorry I am looking at a liquid force angel and they come in 134 and 130

Allison. I ride LF angel and I love it. You could ride both sizes if you want. I ride 134 and im about 5'4" 140lbs. I guess its all about what you want to.

Riding a board that's too short will be just as bad as riding one that's too long. <BR>A shorter board is definitely harder to handle in rough water, and you're more likely to get more pop from a bigger board, than a shorter one. A board that's too short is going to sink lower in the water and handle really badly, <BR>I'm not saying that a 130 would be too short for you, but 134 is probably a happy medium. Just be really sure, and try a 130 if possible before buying one. <BR> <BR>p.s. you'll see even less difference in 2cm than 2 inches! ;)

Allie, I just bought last year's LF Angel 134 at The House, can't wait to get it in the water this weekend. How does it handle popping over the wake?

Yesterday about 4:30 - 5:30pm with my hubby and daughter. He bought a Slingshot and I bought the 06 Angel 134/Minx bindings. The guy that helped us out (tall and blond) was great!

Yea I had yesterday off. We have the same board. But I have last year ltd minx. Your going to love them... Sean was your sales guy. Hes one of the guys that i ride with a lot. How does your hub like the Slingshot. That board is so nice i cant believe it.
