4 rev 8 vs pro 3 some
We are in the final talks on a new MB F22 Tomcat and I can't decide if I should go with the 4 Rev 8's that i can order with the boat or keep my pro 3 some that I have know. I have not had a chance to listen to any of the new Rev series so I don't know how they will compare to the older 3 some.

If you are doing the rev's, why not go rev10?
4 rev10's are nearly double the output of 4 rev8 if I remember hearing correctly. |
I don't think I can from what the dealer told me. I think the only package Mb offers is the Rev 8's
|
Imo I'd rather wait, add the rev10's after the fact and save your money from the dealer.
Unless they are giving you some crazy outrageous deal, which I doubt. |
Wske26 where you located and what dealer are you using?

Erik are you a MB dealer

The Rev's have a lot better sound quality at louder levels. The Pro series sounded kind of harsh when they were played loud.
See if you can get Rev10's on the deal. They're not twice as loud, but have a much better midbass response. |
I had the 4 rev 8's install on my 2014 b52 from the factory. I ripped the whole system out and Had Ryan at Chucktronics put four Rev 10' on tower, All new xs650's,4 xs 808 , new sub and five ARC amps, and an arc ps8. Now the system works properly. The factory under powers the 4 Rev 8's you wont be happy. Here is a link to pictures. MB is a great boat manufacturer, they are not stereo installers, if you are looking for a high end system.
