Just curious if anyone has done one of these behind a boat. Seems like Darin would or has, but I can't find any videos.

Andy Owings (thinks that's spelled right). Did one way back in the day and I believe was the first. There was a sequence shot in WBM.

Yep Andy Owings was the first in 1997 behind a little Sportique. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Stephane Tranne has landed some as well.

As far as I know there is no footage of it being landed behind boat. Ryan Jones attempt on wakeplace was amazing, sure he could do it if he tried again, but I imagine the mental commitment to that trick behind the boat is something else!

There was a kid in Holland that did them back in 97/98 or so, Maurice van Iersel. He was supertalented, but quit wakeboarding early. I'll see if anyone has footage of it.

Pretty sure I saw Parks do one in his documentary.

I remember seeing Andy Owings do it out on my lake back in 1997. There were a group of riders that were out on Farrah Dawson's boat earlier in the day and they were killing it. I just wanted to stay out on my dock all day and watch, but I had to go play in a basketball game. As soon as I got home from the game, I started running down to my dock. It was getting dark but I was hoping that they were still out. Once I made it to the end of the dock, I saw the Tige pulling into my cove and I watched Andy cut out and crank back into the wake. I heard everybody in the boat screaming and I couldn't even comprehend what I was seeing. At the time, I don't think I had ever seen anybody do an s-bend in person and I just witnessed him doing a double. It was insane. Everybody was freaking out in the boat. Then I watched the boat start to turn and pull him into a double up. Andy cut in for the double up and the wake and rollers were so big that the double up washed over and swallowed him up. <BR> <BR>I remember that evening so vividly it's unbelievable. <BR>Sean O'Brien

Pete, that's the one and I would definitely say that is a double S. From that angle it makes it difficult to judge but that is legit in my book. Damn I thought that video was from a year ago, turns out its almost 4 years old. I was WAYY off
