I recently dinged the stock OJ prop on my boat. I have been weighting my boat up 1200-1500lbs lately plus people. I recently bought the Acme 847 prop and it seems like the boat is lacking torque and seems like it is spinning more rpm at 23 mph. Will going to the acme 977 give me more out of the hole performance and will I be spinning more or less RPM at 23 mph? I still can't believe that the stock OJ props are $700+. Thanks for the help

Call Acme....they are very good at matching a prop to your boat. <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.acmemarine.com/html/contact2.asp" target="_blank">http://www.acmemarine.com/html/contact2.asp</a>

ACME 1285

at skiertoskier.com they are closer to the mid 400s for your prop. Got my prop for 500 with the case early in the year. The stock OJ is the 14.25x14.5 .110 cup (I think) and as stated above, the ACME version would be the 1285.

$430 to be exact for your prop at skiertoskier.com.
