V210-Sacks empty out when we drive.....

So I took out the old hard tanks, put in sacks. All the pumps are still the same, rerouted the hoses, and put quik connect fittings in them,so I could remove the sacks and clean, etc.

We took it out Saturday, filled the sacks, everything seemed to be good, but when we move/drive,it drains out the side where its supposed to pump out.

Placement is overflow is coming out ahead of the vdrive sacks from the top, fill is on top of the sack towards the rear of the boat, but I had drain bottom of the sack toward the back of the boat.

Would this be to much pressure on the pump, and make it drain with it in the off position?

I have moved it to bottom front, taking the pressure off of it while driving, but havent tested it yet.

So, you have the fill on the top in the rear, drain at the bottom in the rear and vent (overflow) at the top in the front? This sounds right.

Not sure how to fix this one. Maybe route the vent hose higher? I would think the water is sloshing out of the vent hose (top front). Probably not from the drain hose/pump.

The vent and drain holes are on the same side, so I would think it is sloshing out of the vent. You'd have to look down in there to confirm which hole is which connection.

I have this happen on my VLX. I think what happens is when you come off plane or make a turn that puts that drain hole in the water the speed of the water rushing by creates a siphon. Once the siphon starts it wont stop until they are close to empty. The way I resolved this was to put a ball valve on each of the drain lines for my sacs. Its not any different that siphoning gas into a boat.

BTW, I have tried "looping" the line up higher than the water line. This didnt make any difference, they still siphoned out.
