hey guys i need help choosing a board. It'll be my second. my current board is a crappy gladiator board. I'm about 5'9 and weigh about 140 lbs. I'm just learning to jump the wake, so i really can't do much yet, but i want a board that i can use for a while and grow on. It needs to be fairly stable in rough water because i often have to ride in terrible conditions. If it makes any difference, the only brands i can demo are LF and hyperlite because thats all my board shop carries. I'd also like to release pretty easily off the water because i like to wakeslide. thanks!

I think the Murray is a good beginner to advanced board from hyperlite. Super soft landings, & you can surface spin the crap out of it. Downside its alot heavier then most of the LF boards.
I would demo

LF
Shane
Fish
Axis

Hyperlite
Murray
3ds
Premiere

i like the shane but i heard that it felt really technical and was tough on beginners. is that true?
