Wow, really no controversy or arguments this year? Nice to see that everyone agrees on everything, but it's kind of quiet around here!!

http://www.wakeworld.com/riderspoll/

Hey Dave, how many people voted this year?

jarrod 09-08-2009 11:49 AM

Let me be the first to stir shiat up! lol

Parks needs to give his spot to JD.

Harley needs to be bumped up a few spots.

BTW...I won the Company handle and rope. Thanks Dave! Anyone want to trade for a Proline?

eubanks01 09-08-2009 12:19 PM

Sure. I'll send you my anchor of an LG if you send me your Company.

What kind of shape is it in?

eubanks01 09-08-2009 1:08 PM

Very good shape except for the emblem partially tore away from the handle one of the first sets using it. It was a warranty replacement though and no longer covered. I can send you pics.

I don't even wakeskate but I was surprised Nick Taylor wasn't on the wakeskaters list.

wakeparent 09-08-2009 6:28 PM

The only thing I see is Eddie is 2nd runner up for rookie of the year, and he didnt even ride because of his knee... Love that kid,

hoosairboy 09-08-2009 6:43 PM

Why is Lyman number 10? Is he really the 10th most popular rider or is this poll skewed one way or another. Nothing against him I just don't see what he has done lately to be a top 10. Eddie V number 2? Why wasn't Lariche considered a rookie? Wasn't he Jr Men last year? I never noticed a runner up category for Rookie before either is that new.

wakedad33 09-08-2009 6:49 PM

+ 1 for Jimmy LaRiche for runner up rookie of the year, don't understand that one.

wakeworld 09-08-2009 6:55 PM

Jimmy was Rookie of the Year last year. Since he won the biggest pro payout of the 2008 season at Brostock, we considered him a pro last year.

No, runner ups for Rookie were posted last year as well: http://www.wakeworld.com/RidersPoll/2008/Rookie.asp

jarrod 09-08-2009 8:13 PM

Send me a picture eubanks.

hsryan33 09-08-2009 8:58 PM

how is eddie valdez on there? he didn't ride this year due to a knee injury. plus how is nick taylor and randall harris not on there. seems like a wierd voting system

wakeworld 09-08-2009 9:14 PM

Pretty standard voting system. Anyone can vote.

romes 09-08-2009 11:11 PM

this is predominately a wakeBOARD site not a wakeskate sight...i'd venture to say that a lot of the people voting dont even know what wakeskaters are up to these days...

my vote would've went to Reed Hansen..kids got hammers..front 5 and back 5 on a skate is insane...and my little buddy Grant Roberts would have to be up there as well...

Can we not get better pics of Melissa Marquardt and Amber Wing? I have seen WAY hotter pics of both, but the ones on the Top 5 Women page are just not that great. Which is too bad since both are very attractive.

fleming 09-09-2009 5:49 AM

Top two male wakeboarders are Canadian!

just sayin'
