Does anybody ride on Greenwood lake?

I've kept my boat at Greenwood Smallcraft for about 10 yrs. now... Do you ride there?

I haven't brought my boat there yet. I should be ready to go in a couple of weeks. I have never been on the lake, but I hope to log lots of hours this year. I just reserved a slip at the Moosehead Marina.

Weekdays and weeknights are best...weekends can be a bit hectic. With water levels high right now you should not have a problem, but late in the summer if the water level drops, the southern end of the lake can get a lot of alge.

Southern end is best and produces the best water.

I have not been on GW lake for a long time (read 7-8years), so things might have changed a bit.

If you get up there early and are out by about 12:00, you wont have any problems on the weekends. Saturdays arnt so bad, but I would avoid the lake on a Sunday afternoon (gets pretty crazy). Theres some cool restauraunts on the lake (the castle tavern & Emerald Point are best). Stumps can be a problem when the water level starts going down... If you ever need a third or anohter rider or anthing definately drop me a line...
-savatsky@hotmail.com
