does anyone remember that edit from last season that some kid made that was edited to paper planes by MIA. It was HD and it was one of the best amateur wakeboard edits I have ever seen. If you haven't seen it, see it, if you can't get siked to ride, watch it. I dont have the link to it but if anyone does do us all a favor and put it up! thanks, and thanks to whoever made it.

mos def the sickest amateur video I've seen. I like how he times the cha-ching with the floaty grab towards the end.

Yeah Russell Ramey is the rider. hes got a really great style. He won the expert division at wake the desert this year in san angelo tx. He also won the design contest for one of the Humanoid wakeboards. I always watch it to get psyched about doing a toeside backroll cuz his are super clean

(Message edited by devildog_ra on August 14, 2009)

Clayton Michael said that this in the comments under the video.....

Michael 1 year ago
Thanks for all the feedback!

This video was really about learning for me being the first project I shot with my new camera and the first time I used Final Cut for editing. I learned a lot but have a lot to learn.

I used a Sony PMW-EX1 to aquire the images. Everything from the boat was hand held except for the very last shot with the frame where I used a tripod. The footage was shot at 24 fps and all of the overcranked footage was 60@24.

All the editing was done in Final Cut Pro.

For the effects and color correction I used Avid|DS. The video was finished 1920x1080 @ 24fps.

For delivery to Vimeo I just followed their HD specs.
