SOB's S-Bend Crash

I just thought that you guys would like to see this. After being harassed for about 8 years to try an s-bend, I decided to suck it up and go for it yesterday. This is probably one of the best crashes that I have ever had on video and surprisingly enough it didn't really hurt. Hope you like it.

Sean

Oh My...that looks very gnarly! Glad you are okay!

Definitely looked painful.

jkatslo 04-08-2010 7:24 AM

looked like you had it in the first part

benjaminp 04-08-2010 7:37 AM

Man that looked rugged. It looked good taking off, but you can see the exact "uhoh" point. Glad to hear you are alright (potentially minus a few brain cells from an impact like that).

lseghatch 04-08-2010 7:51 AM

should've edited in slow motion as well, happens really fast

eubanks01 04-08-2010 7:59 AM

Yikes, looked like a blown ear drum to me.

So when is the next attempt? :-)

sidekicknicholas 04-08-2010 8:07 AM

^ Thats all I could see.... is the ear getting exploded

jessemitchell 04-08-2010 8:38 AM

possible new trick? S bend to hs front flip

bmr82 04-08-2010 9:52 AM

that is crazy man.

mc_x15 04-08-2010 11:02 AM

Looks good. Damn. s bend to front flip. SICK

Damn Sean, it started out perfect and then you kind of went into the "kid learning a raley for the first time" mode. Luckily S-Bends are not a make or break trick for pros lol because i don't know if I would be trying one of those again.

sean_obrien 04-08-2010 7:19 PM

I was pretty lucky with that crash. I may have lost a few brain cells, but I see that as a survival of the fittest situation. I'm just weeding out the unnecessary cells.

I've never really cared about doing an s-bend, but since I actually gave it a legitimate attempt, I feel like I failed and need to go back and try some more. I'm pretty sure I know what I need to do to make it work. Hopefully I can pull it together and make it work.

yeah that looked like a potential ear drum popper
