anyone hear any good things about it? my buddy just bought one going into it kinda blind. what should he be expecting?

Super sick bindings! I love em...I've got the reg 07 factions and just ordered the limited edition. Super comfy footbed/inner lining, great hold and they are really easy to get into.

^^^ What he said and will add that they are not a stiff binding but provides a lot of support to the ankles and foot itself. I love them and wouldn't buy any other binding right now.

I think he's talking about the board... I've heard good things about it, solid all around and does many things well.

Awesome board. Tracks really well and landings are extremely soft. You can go fin less for a fun ride also. He will like the board.
