The 2007 World Wake Surfing Championships (r) (WWSC), towed by Centurion <BR>Boats, will be returning to its roots for the event's sixth anniversary! On <BR>August 24th, 25th &amp; 26th, 2007, wakesurfers will gather again on Lake <BR>Yosemite in Merced, California to show the world how far it has come over <BR>the past 5 years! <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>In 2006, wakesurfers showed their skills, from shuvit 540s to surface 1080s, <BR>and big air indy grabs to lots of toes on the nose. FYI If rooms fill up here in Merced check out Modesto Dbl Tree also Turlock and Fresno (Fresno is about an hour from the lake). Courtyard is the newest probably cleanest in town. Just go to Google maps to find numbers etc. If you want to stay in town reserve soon the UC starts that week and a lot of families may be in town.
